Flotsam and Jetsam is an American thrash metal band that was formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1981. Before settling on its current name in 1984, the band had existed under three different names, Paradox, Dredlox and Dogz. The Flotsam & Jetsam Doomsday For The Deceiver re-release (Pop-Up) comes in the following versions: 001-030 liquid filled, 031-200 splatter vinyl, 201-600 green vinyl and 601-999 red vinyl. Strictly limited to a total number of 999 copies, hand numbered. “Though a little rough in the production department, Flotsam & Jetsam's first album, Doomsday for the Deceiver, attempts both short bursts of thrashing intensity ("Desecrator," "Iron Tears") as well as extended, multi-part epics ("Metalshock" and the title track).”
