United Forces

Stormtroopers of Death (abbreviated to S.O.D.) was an American crossover thrash band formed in New York City in 1985. They are credited as being among the first bands to fuse hardcore punk with thrash metal into a style sometimes referred to as crossover thrash. The band is also known for reuniting Anthrax members Scott Ian (guitars) and Charlie Benante (drums) with their former bassist Dan Lilker. The SOD picture shape release contains 4 songs a) United Forces / Fist Banging Mania and b) Pussywhipped / Kill Yourself. Taken from the Album “Speak English Or Die” from 1985. Special shape vinyl with inlay, strictly limited to only 750 copies / hand numbered 001/750. Again a brand new “Cover” design / layout from church of vinyl.“If there is one thing that is well known about S.O.D. it is their politically incorrect lyrical themes, hence the title of the album for instance "Speak English Or Die". The lyrics on the album aren't meant to be taken seriously, and for the most part they are pretty funny. Former Anthrax roadie Milano belts them out with a ferocious amount of confidence. His voice is great for the style of music played throughout the record, it has a very rough quality.”
