Overkill is an American thrash metal band, formed in 1980 in New Jersey. They have gone through many lineup changes, leaving bassist D.D. Verni and lead vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth as the only constant members. They were one of the first thrash metal bands to sign to a major label (having signed to Atlantic Records in 1986), and rose to fame as part of the genre's movement of the mid-to-late 1980s, along with the "Big Four". The album “Wings Of War” was released on vinyl before in 2019 by Nuclear Blast. Again - perfect Band for a Pop-Up re-release, strictly limited to 666 copies (001- 025 liquid filled vinyl, 026 – 175 splattered vinyl and 176 – 666 clear green vinyl. Hand numbering 001/666 and printed inner sleeves – hell yeah!
